Four Philadelphia-area medical centers have earned spots on Premier’s 100 Top Hospitals rankings for 2025, including one in Bucks County, writes John George for the Philadelphia Business Journal.
The annual program determined the top hospitals in the nation based on clinical outcomes, operational efficiency, patient experience, and financial health. This year, researchers evaluated 2,599 short-term, acute-care, non-federal hospitals in the country.
St. Luke’s Upper Bucks Campus, part of the Bethlehem-based St. Luke’s University Health Network, ranked No. 16 in the Small Community Hospital category. The campus is located in Milford Township just outside of Quakertown.
St. Luke’s will soon become the owner of another Bucks County health system, as it reached a definitive agreement earlier this year to add Grand View Health to its network. The deal is expected to be finalized in mid-to-late 2025, following customary federal and state regulatory reviews, along with the completion of undisclosed closing conditions.
The Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Penn Presbyterian Medical, and Chester County Hospital, all part of Penn Medicine, have also made the list.
