Mural Arts Philadelphia Announces Wall Ball 2025: Restoring Hope: Where Art and Justice Meet

Mural Arts Philadelphia's signature fundraising event, Wall Ball 2025, will take place on Friday, May 9, 2025, at the Brooklyn Bowl Philadelphia.

Mural Arts Philadelphia is proud to announce that its signature fundraising event, Wall Ball 2025, will take place on Friday, May 9, 2025, at the Brooklyn Bowl Philadelphia. Located at 1009 Canal St, this vibrant space will provide the perfect backdrop for an evening celebrating Mural Arts’ Restorative Justice program and its mission to create opportunities for healing and transformation through art.

This year’s theme, “Restoring Hope: Where Art and Justice Meet,” highlights Mural Arts’ commitment to using art to address systemic inequities, foster restorative justice, and uplift communities. With artists, partners, and community members in attendance, the evening will honor individuals and organizations that embody these values, including:

  • City Council President Kenyatta Johnson
  • The Philadelphia Eagles
  • Journalist Sarena Snider
  • Artist King Saladeen (Arts and Crafts Visionary Artist Awardee)

Wall Ball 2025 will feature an exclusive VIP seated dinner, a program highlighting Mural Arts’ impact, a video presentation, and awards to our honorees. The evening will continue with an energetic afterparty, offering a lively and unforgettable celebration.

The entertainment for Wall Ball will be championship worthy! The evening will be emceed by poet Nina “Lyrispect” Ball with appearances by the Eagles Cheerleading Squad, the Eagles Drumline, and everyone’s favorite mascot – Swoop! Guests will groove the night away with the sounds of Eagles DJ Diamond Kuts. There will also be the soothing sounds of the Philadelphia String Quartet, and delicious food by Catering by Design. It wouldn’t be a Mural Arts party without murals! There will be live painting activations by local artists.

Together, we can continue building bridges, inspiring change, and creating opportunities for all.”

Tickets went on sale on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, and are now available for purchase. Tickets are $125 for general admission, which starts at 8:30 pm, and $300 for the VIP entry, which starts at 6:30 pm and includes a sit-down dinner and the program portion of the evening.
