Doylestown’s newest multi-use project, 333 North Broad, a four-building complex with apartments and retail space, is now ready for residents, writes Lacey Latch for the Bucks County Courier Times.
The $77 million project featuring 235 luxury apartments marks the culmination of the borough’s 30-year vision to reimagine a once-industrial section of town. This includes the former home of the Doylestown Intelligencer newspaper.
“I think it’s exactly the vision the borough had, which is ‘we’re going to take this more commercial, light-industrial part of town and make it more mixed-use and integrated into the borough,’” said David Della Porta, founding partner of the project developer Cornerstone Tracy. “I think it’s going to fit in perfectly.”
The four buildings are linked by an enclosed walkway. The first floor features 10,000 square feet of retail space as well as more than 400 parking spaces.
There has been huge interest in the retail space, according to the developer, but no deals have been done yet.
Other amenities include a rooftop terrace and bar, two interior courtyards, a pool, a fitness center, hammock gardens, and much more.
Roughly one acre of land has been preserved as a public green space, as required by borough officials.
