One Chester County town is ranked among the top three places to live in the United States, with two others in the top 250, writes Ryan Mulligan for the Philadelphia Business Journal.
Niche recently released its annual rankings, based on data from the U.S. Census Bureau, the FBI, the Department of Education, the IRS, and millions of user reviews. The company focused on metrics such as affordability, local housing markets, neighborhood diversity, public schools, and walkability, among others.
Chesterbrook ranked highest in the region, placing third nationwide for the second year in a row. It held the top spot from 2020 to 2023.
Devon ranked at No. 185 in the nation and fifth in Greater Philadelphia, dropping 100 spots compared to last year. The list is rounded out with Paoli, which came sixth in the region and was ranked at No. 202 nationwide.
Niche also released its list of the best places to raise a family, with Chesterbrook taking the top spot for the second consecutive year.
