Chester County Ice Cream Shop Draws Crowds for First Glimpses of Spring

Handel’s Homemade Ice Cream is home to over 40 rotating flavors, becoming a favorite throughout Chester County.

Handel’s Homemade Ice Cream, with various locations across Chester County, has seen an uptick in customers since the warmer weather has arrived, reports Adam Joseph for 6ABC.  

A large group gathered outside of the Handel’s location in Berwyn, ready to celebrate the early arrival of spring.  

Handel’s has 48 rotating flavors each month, with each local store having a unique lineup. Both classic and creative flavors are offered. You’ll find comfort flavors, such as cake batter, mint chocolate chip, vanilla, and chocolate. For those who’d like to try something new, Handel’s offers flavors like chocolate raspberry truffle, coconut cream pie, praline pecan, and ‘Sticky Fingers.’  

Handel’s also offers hurricanes, which are made with one part vanilla ice cream mixed with a choice of toppings. Speaking of toppings, there are many to customize your cone.

Toppings include brownie pieces, cheesecake, crushed cherries, marshmallows, and more. Don’t forget to spice it up with your choice of waffle, sugar, or cake cones! 

Handel’s in Berwyn is open Sunday –Thursday from 11 AM – 9 PM and Friday – Sat from 11 AM – 10 PM.
