IBX Associates Collect More Than 2,000 Pounds of Food for Local Pantries

IBX’s food drive is part of a larger initiative to support nonprofits focused on housing and food insecurity.

Independence Blue Cross associates collected more than 2,000 pounds of food in support of five local food pantries, one for each county in southeastern Pennsylvania.

Part of IBX’s “Feed the Need” food drive, donations included items most needed or requested in each county, including peanut butter, canned soup, coffee, pasta, and granola bars. Pantries receiving the items are:
