Federal Donuts & Chicken is gearing up for its second location in the Philadelphia suburbs, with the new Willow Grove store opening this Friday, writes Michaela Althouse for the PhillyVoice.
The store can seat 12 people and will be open daily, from 7 AM. to 8 PM.
Federal Donuts opened its first suburban store in Radnor last September, after securing an investment from Radnor’s NewSpring Franchise. More shops are expected later this year, including one in Conshohocken.
“It has always been a dream to grow Federal Donuts & Chicken out of our amazing city and into the suburbs of Philadelphia,” said co-founder Michael Solomonov. “We hope our new Willow Grove shop is a place where folks can bring their loved ones for a delicious slice of comfort.”
The Willow Grove will offer a full coffee and espresso menu from La Colombe along with breakfast sandwiches and hash browns. The store will also serve treats such as FedNuts Minis donut holes and Fried Chicken Sandwich Sliders.
The first 100 customers on Friday will get a free T-shirt with a purchase. Complimentary cups of FedNuts Minis will be offered throughout the first weekend.
