Have a Nice, Cold Beer at Philly’s Newest Beer Spot in Northern Liberties

Future Days Beer recently celebrated its opening in Northern Liberties, as one of Philadelphia's newest breweries.

Future Days Beer Company is Northern Liberties’ newest beer stop, writes Shane Savitsky for AXIOS Philadelphia.

“We’re probably the first brewery in Philadelphia to open in a while without an IPA,” co-owners Sean McGuire and Nick Mata joked with AXIOS.

Future Days’ opening beer list features nothing over 6 percent ABV, which is perfect for those who are looking to have a more prolonged sipping session.

Some options include their namesake kölsch, along with a handful of crushable pale ales.

In the weeks to come, Future Days Beer plans to fill out their 10 tap lines with nothing off-limits.

Among its forthcoming offerings include a winter tweak of their kölsch.

Future Days’ first floor features its brewing space along with a smaller bar, while the second floor has the main bar with plenty of seating and a vintage pool table.

During the warmer months, McGuire and Mata hope to open an outdoor patio space in front of the brewery, as well.
