Conshohocken Brewing and Asher’s Chocolate Collab for a Good Cause
Two Montgomery County favorites have teamed up again to create a seasonal beverage for a good cause, writes Main Line Media News.
Asher’s Chocolate, a family-owned chocolatier from Souderton, has partnered with Conshohocken Brewing to launch a limited-edition Chocolate Orange Porter. A portion of the proceeds from the porter, which is available now, supports local pediatric cancer research.
The Chocolate Orange Porter is described as having a “silky-smooth and rich body” from dark malts, with added cocoa nibs and a bright citrus accent from oranges.
This marks the second collaboration between Asher’s and Conshohocken Brewing. Last year, they released the popular Chocolate Peanut Butter Pumpkin Ale. In the summer of 2023, the beer company opened a pop-up beer garden at Asher’s location.
“We love working with the Asher’s and are excited for Conshohocken Brewing and Asher’s fans to try our Chocolate Orange Porter,” said William Livingston, brand director at Conshohocken Brewing.
The Philadelphia Business Journal recently honored Asher’s Chocolates with a 2024 Family-Owned Business Award. The Journal recognized Asher’s for its community contributions and multi-generational legacy.
Chester Asher, marketing director at Asher’s, spoke highly of the partnership. “Last year’s success made it an easy decision, and it’s rewarding to make a positive impact through our philanthropic efforts.”
The Chocolate Orange Porter, with an ABV of 5.3%, is available at the Conshohocken Brewing Pop-Up Beer Garden at Asher’s in Franconia Township. Of course it’s in stock at the Conshohocken Brewing locations in Conshohocken, King of Prussia, Phoenixville, and Bridgeport.
