Rob Jahn, the visionary owner and lead brewer at Neshaminy Creek Brewing Co. in Croydon, has been steering his brewery towards innovative heights, writes Jeff Tomik the Philly Voice.   

Under his helm, Neshaminy Creek has not only expanded its footprint across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, and Maryland but also ventured into unique brewing experiments.  

Among these, a noteworthy endeavor includes teaming up with Rita’s Italian Ice to incorporate distinct fruity flavors into their beers.  

Jahn co-founded the brewery at the age of 25. After earning a history degree, he pursued his passion for brewing at Brewer’s Apprentice in New Jersey. 

His approach to brewing is characterized by creativity and precision, often starting with a clear vision of the desired end product.  

This methodology was exemplified in the creation of the Peach Ring Tart Ale, where an existing Berliner Weisse beer provided the base that was then perfected with adjustments to achieve the ideal balance of tartness and sweetness. 

His role has evolved significantly since the brewery’s inception, focusing now on overseeing production, setting seasonal schedules, and managing growth.
