In a rare occurrence, six multimillion-dollar 19th-century homes are currently on the market on the same block of 18th and Delancey Place, one of the most exclusive and coveted addresses in Philadelphia, writes Ryan Mulligan for the Philadelphia Business Journal.
Three of the six properties are listed for over $5 million and span over 6,000 square feet. The remaining three range in price from $2.15 million to $3.95 million.
However, it is not clear how long this abundance of choice will stay available for those looking for a Delancey mansion in Rittenhouse Square, as the homes have been garnering huge interest recently. Additionally, another home on the same block was recently put under contract after only being on the market for a few weeks.
According to Lisa Yakulis, an agent with Kurfiss Sotheby’s International Real Estate, activity in Philadelphia and the luxury market has started to pick up again, which bodes well for Delancey.
“We’ve had really strong activity,” said Yakulis, who has a $5.4 million listing at 1830 Delancey. “I believe my listing will go under contract quickly.”
