Woodworking Wizard Jeff Devlin’s Latest Project Is B+B Farmhouse in Chester Springs

Jeff Devlin, owner of SchoolHouse Woodworking in Exton and star of DIY Network’s Stone House Revival, is working on a new project: a B+B farmhouse in Chester Springs, writes Melissa Jacobs for Main Line Tonight.

Devlin renovated Sycamore and Stone Farm, a property he bought recently, and turned it into a charming B+B. He also restored the barn turning it into a retail space where special events and craft-oriented workshops are hosted.

Both structures date back to 1735. Devlin purchased the property in December 2021 after selling his longtime Westtown home. Then he put everything he had into Sycamore and Stone.

“This is my entire life savings,” he said. “Everything I’ve ever saved is in Sycamore & Stone.”

He has every right to be optimistic about the future. The B+B is continuously booked while the barn is always brimming with activity. In addition, his custom furniture and general contractor business is as busy as ever.

Despite some offers, he has no intention of returning to television for now.

“I want to be here, at Sycamore and Stone, with the people I love doing the work that I love,” said Devlin.
