City & State Pennsylvania has released its 2023 Fifty Over 50 list, and it includes several leaders in Philadelphia whose accomplishments show the value and impact of their efforts over their decades-long careers, writes Hilary Danailova for City & State PA.

One of these leaders is Bob Brady, chair of the Philadelphia Democratic Party.

He has served 10 terms representing Philadelphia in Congress, having led Philadelphia’s Democrats since the days of the Ronald Reagan presidency.

Cynthia Figueroa, President and CEO of JEVS Human Services, is another Philly leader who made the list.

She has a quarter-century of experience in the public and nonprofit sectors.

In her newest role at the helm of JEVS, she has led an expansion of the nonprofit’s programs – which serves 25,000 people annually – adding services for individuals with disabilities and justice-involved adults, as well as workforce development for refugees.

Also on the list is Dan Hilferty, the chair and CEO of Comcast Spectacor. He also serves as the Governor of the Philadelphia Flyers. 

He joined the corporation after leading Philadelphia’s successful bid to be a host city for the FIFA World Cup 2026.
