Through his books, author Kenneth E. Murrey Sr. has been able to share some of the valuable lessons he’s learned during his 80 years of life, reports Nick Iadonisi for 6abc

An author of three books about his life and his late wife, Regina L. Murrey.

Among the themes showcased in his books include love and grief and how to overcome loneliness. The books also describe the authentic experiences of being in a relationship, and his genuine love for his wife.

“She was the heart of my life,” he said.

The two met at a young age, and Murrey recounts that it was love at first sight for him.

Murrey became inspired to write the books when his wife was in the hospital and she suggested that he start writing about their lives.

“I wrote the first two books in 90 days, it was so easy to write because…I experienced every line and every page,” said Murrey.

After his wife passed away, Murrey found that the books provide him with a way to remember fond moments he had with her.

Murrey has two more books planned to release next year, which will mark the end of his writing journey.
