Mercatino Italiano, known for its popular Italian market, is set to arrive in Bethlehem in early 2025.

Mercatino Italiano, the popular Italian market in Quakertown, will expand to Bethlehem early next year, writes Graysen Golter for The Morning Call.

“I hope to bring a sense of family to Bethlehem with cooked meals and offerings that feel like home to a new community,” said Mercatino Italiano owner Kristin Randazzo.

The new location will have the same offerings as the Quakertown shop, including meats, cheeses, pastries, cookies, sandwiches, olive oils, pasta, sauces, and catering services.

The Bethlehem location will also offer artisan pizza and everyday grocery essentials, said Randazzo, “for the convenience of the locals and those who live in our building and within walking distance to our store!”

The space for the new shop is currently under construction. The store will be open Tuesday through Friday from 10 AM to 6 PM, Saturday from 10 AM to 4 PM, and Sunday from 9 AM to 1 PM.

With time, the new location will add late-night hours for the weekend, according to Randazzo.

The market was originally known as Giacomo’s Italian Market Quakertown but then changed its name in August 2023 when it opened its second location in Dublin.
