Bensalem-based Rita’s Italian Ice has revealed its latest summer flavor in partnership with the iconic NERDS Candy, writes Cherise Lynch for NBC 10 Philadelphia.  

For a limited time, patrons can now enjoy the new NERDS grape-flavored ice. Customers can also add baby NERDS pieces as a topping, a first in the quick-service restaurant industry. 

In addition, Rita’s is offering a NERDS grape-flavored Gelati Blender for those seeking a “sippable treat.” 

“We are thrilled to introduce our guests to the innovative and adventurous sweet, crunchy, and tangy flavor of NERDS Grape flavored Ice this summer,” said Madalyn Weintraub, Senior Director of Marketing at Rita’s Italian Ice & Frozen Custard.
