Hotel Anna & Bel is set to open in Fishtown on August 7.

At Hotel Anna & Bel, the first full-service hotel opening soon in Fishtown, no two rooms are exactly alike, writes Devorah Lev-Tov for The New York Times.

The hotel is housed in a 1769 Italianate-style mansion and a connected townhouse.

Its 50 rooms are decorated with velvet or linen sofas and custom wood, velvet or rattan beds, and range from studios to two-bedroom suites.

The mansion’s original staircase was preserved along with wood ceiling beams and four fireplaces. The guest rooms on the second floor overlook the courtyard, anchored by a 10.5-meter pool.

Anna & Bel also features a cocktail bar, called Caletta. Opening onto the poolside patio, it’s planning to offer spritzes along with small Italian dishes like fried artichokes and zeppole Calabrese.

Bastia, on the ground floor, is the hotel’s Mediterranean restaurant, and will serve produce from Green Meadow Farm in Lancaster County, and seafood from a New Jersey fishmonger that specializes in seasonal and regional stocks.

Other amenities include several wellness areas, such as a fitness center with an infrared sauna and a rooftop yoga deck.

Anna & Bel is set to open in Fishtown on August 7.
