By

Chester Springs author and healthcare advocate Christina DiArcangelo exposes the shadows of elder abuse and mental illness in her new book, Rescuing Mom

In her memoir and self-help book, DiArcangelo unveils a powerful narrative that delves into the horrific realities of elder abuse and mental illness as it recounts the author’s journey to save those she loves.

DiArcangelo chronicles her pursuit of justice and collaboration with the authorities, as well as the resilience it takes to become a hero for a loved one in need.

The main themes explored in the book include elder abuse, mental illness, superhero strengths, and the pursuit of justice.

“In Rescuing Mom, I lay bare the strength inherent in facing adversity – a testament not just to my journey, but a rallying cry against elder abuse,” said DiArcangelo. “This memoir serves as a guide, urging others on their path of resilience and justice. We must persist, ensuring justice is served.”

The book also serves as an outcry and as a way to help get others involved in the fight against elder abuse and mental health stigmas, as well as making sure that justice is always pursued.
