African American Museum in Philadelphia To Host ‘A Night at AAMP – Spring Fling’ Event May 17
The African American Museum in Philadelphia is allowing guest to step into a night of positive vibes and style during its ‘A Night at AAMP – Spring Fling’ on Friday, May 17.
The exclusive event features extended museum hours, live music by DJ lil’dave, and the captivating exhibition, “Imprint: Dox Thrash, Black Life and American Culture.”
The exhibition features more than 40 pieces that portray images seen in the pioneering artist’s everyday life.
The ‘Spring Fling’ event will also feature an intimate pop-up experience with Philadelphia Poet Laureate, Kai Davis, as well as self-guided games throughout the museum.
If you’re feeling witty, you’ll be able to test your knowledge with a game a Quizzo, led by Quizmaster Morgan.
Admission tickets for the ‘Spring Fling’ event cost $35 until May 16, and $40 at the door on the day of the event.
Cocktails by Jelly Kisses, and hot bites by Eatible Delights will also be available during the event.
The fun will start at 5 PM and last until 8 PM at the AAMP.
