Car Lovers’ Social Club Cannonball Coming to Fishtown With Storage, Bar, and Co-Working Space

Cannonball Club will open in Fishtown this summer with 15,000 square feet dedicated to vehicle storage, plus a bar and co-working space.

Cannonball, a members-only car club, will open in Fishtown this summer with 15,000 square feet dedicated to vehicle storage, plus a bar, restaurant, and co-working space, writes Emma Dooling for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

The club at 1115 Frankford Avenue is set for a soft opening in June and will appeal to both automobile enthusiasts and young professionals, offering car storage and social memberships that create opportunities for community building.

“We want to make this the Soho House for cars,” said partner Chris Allen.

The project, first announced in October 2024 was originally expected to open in summer 2025, but was delayed due to zoning and construction issues. In the meantime, the partners added a 750-square-foot coffee shop to serve as both a reception area and offer public access with views of the cars stored inside.

Cars will be visible to passersby through glass windows on the club’s facade, offering non-members a glimpse of the concept.

“We don’t want to lock this place away,” said Allen. “I think too many of these collector cars out there are sort of locked away in private collections, and they never see the light of day.”
