New Warehouse Set to Break Ground in Souderton
A new 176,000-square-foot warehouse is coming to Souderton from Endurance Real Estate Group and Greystar-Thackeray, writes Paul Schwedelson for the Philadelphia Business Journal.
The 14-acre property previously belonged to Franconia Technology Associates, but no price tag was disclosed. Construction is expected to begin in the coming weeks and completion of the projected is expected by the end of next year.
The warehouse, named the 205 Commerce Center will feature a 36-foot clear height, 60-foot deep speed bays, 27 dock door positions, two drive-in doors, 31 trailer stalls, and parking for 180 cars. The project is the 13th joint venture between Endurance and Greystar-Thackray since 2006. The two companies acquired a six-building industrial portfolio in West Norriton just last month.
The new warehouse will be adjacent to another 176,000-square-foot building on Schoolhouse road. Endurance developed that property in 2020 before having a tenant. Accupac purchased the property for $34.5 million and have occupied the space since 2021. Endurance expects similar success with the new property.
“205 Commerce Center reflects our commitment to creating top-tier infill warehouse facilities that offer excellent access to skilled labor and critical transportation networks,” said Endurance Senior VP Jared Newman.
