Jack Settleman, founder of Snapback Sports, recently paid a visit to Franklin Field to cover the Penn vs. Yale football game.

Last week, Jack Settleman, a social media star and the founder of Snapback Sports, was at the matchup between Penn football and Yale at Franklin Field, writes Brian Barth for The Daily Pennsylvanian.

Snapback Sports is a platform that brings sports news and discussion to fans all around the globe. On Friday, Settleman covered the Bulldogs’ 31-10 win.

Settleman launched the platform in 2017 as a junior at the University of Texas. Today, he has almost one million subscribers.

This year, he began traveling with his team to cover college games as part of the newly introduced Snapback Saturdays. The aim is to identify the best sports experience in the world. So far, the Snapback has traveled to Pittsburgh, London, and Brazil, among many other places in the last two months.

His most recent stop brought him to Philadelphia and Franklin Field, the sport’s oldest active stadium.

Despite the forgettable performance by the Quakers, Snapback’s experience was a memorable one, as Settleman got to tour Penn’s athletic facilities, as well as the beautiful campus that is at the heart of University City.

“This is prestige,” Settleman said. “This is what [a] prestigious campus feels like.”
