Two of Philadelphia’s hottest restaurants — Honeysuckle Provisions and Friday Saturday Sunday — have announced plans to expand, writes Emma Dooling for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

Omar Tate and Cybille St. Aude-Tate, owners of Honeysuckle Provisions, recently shuttered their West Philadelphia Afrocentric cafe and grocery store after exactly two years in operation to open a full-service restaurant in the city.

While the couple has not yet revealed the location for their expanded Honeysuckle Provisions, they are working on a February 1 opening for the new restaurant.

“We are ready to be a restaurant in more than spirit alone!” they said in a social media post. “We’ve heard your calls for more seating, more dining options, and even cocktails!”

Meanwhile, Chad and Hanna Williams of Friday Saturday Sunday shared that they are in the process of working on a new concept.

“We just hope it extends this feeling,” Chad said. “I think more than anything we wanted to capture this magic again, which is tough. The building has to be right, the space has to be right, the concept has to fit and it has to be something we’re really excited about.”
