A 2005 Philadelphia mystery is now a podcast and may be moving toward TV content.

True crime.

Knew that’d grab your attention.

True crime – well, it never happens here, right?

But you know what? Sometimes it does. And sometimes something seemingly accidental is, in reality, quite sinister.

Nearly twenty years ago, on February 19th, 2005, Danielle Imbo and Richard Petrone left a South Street bar.

And were never seen again.

Even Richard’s car disappeared.

The pair left behind parents, siblings, children – and a persistent, pernicious mystery whose facts defy logic and whose players grapple with the shifting sand of not knowing.

This past July, Glass Entertainment released a podcast exploring the disappearance of the beloved couple. Released through iHeart Radio, the podcast gives investigators, family, and friends a platform to discuss this roiling mystery.

Along with Glass Entertainment’s Nancy Glass and Ali Perry, the podcast is produced by Andrea Gunning and Ben Fetterman.

Philadelphia native Gunning narrates the podcast, fortifying the details of February 19th, 2005 with hometown insight and tidbits.

Now, according to Deadline, Glass Entertainment anticipates shifting the podcast to the small screen.

Law enforcement believes the disappearance was not accidental. They also believe a Saturday evening South Street was replete with witnesses.

If the podcast doesn’t reach those witnesses, maybe something televised will.
