As part of Aqua’s continued commitment to affordability, qualifying customers can enroll in the company’s Customer Assistance Program.

Aqua Pennsylvania, an Essential Utilities company, reminds low-income households and other eligible Aqua Pennsylvania customers in need of financial assistance to apply for monthly discounts on their water and wastewater bills through its Customer Assistance Program (CAP). CAP is a year-round program administered through the Dollar Energy Fund (DEF).

Aqua is dedicated to supporting our customers in need,” said Essential Utilities Director of Community Assistance Programs Rita Black. “We understand that unexpected financial challenges and limited household income can increase the stress associated with paying bills, especially for an essential resource like water. We encourage our customers in need to take advantage of this valuable program.”

Aqua customers can use DEF’s income calculator to check their income levels and eligibility status for the program.

To apply, call 1-888-282-6816, click here for detailed information on eligibility requirements and application instructions, or visit several community-based organizations that are available to assist low-income households and Aqua Pennsylvania customers wishing to enroll in the program. For more information, visit Aqua Pennsylvania’s CAP page.

Aqua has multiple programs to support customers who need a helping hand. Visit Aqua to learn more.  Aqua Pennsylvania provides water and wastewater service to approximately 1.5 million people in 32 counties throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
