Holy Family University Celebrates Record Enrollment
Holy Family University is experiencing a historic high in enrollment this fall, showcasing its dedication to academic excellence and student-centered growth. The university has seen a 59 percent increase in new first-year students over the past two years.
Holy Family President Anne Prisco attributes this success to a mission-driven strategy focused on student success.
“Our vision is to make a Holy Family education accessible to all students, providing them with the necessary tools and support to thrive,” she said.
The university also reported a 19 percent increase in transfer students over the past two years, highlighting its appeal as a destination for quality education. This growth spans both undergraduate and graduate programs, with final enrollment numbers expected after the second fall start date in late October. Holy Family’s growth and reputation continue to expand as it enrolls students from 11 states and 21 countries.
To accommodate the influx of students, Holy Family’s housing facilities — including residence halls, apartments, and townhomes — are at full capacity.
Under Prisco’s leadership, the university has expanded its academic offerings to include job-ready majors in health sciences and business. Holy Family has also introduced women’s flag football, becoming the first Division II university in Philadelphia to offer the sport.
The university has also enhanced resources for student success, including financial aid counseling, 24/7 online tutoring, and a newly improved wellness and spirituality center.
