Harcum College’s Founders’ Day 2024 kicked off on Monday, Sept. 30, with a reception for employees and friends at Bedford Hall.

As Harcum’s annual Day of Giving, it presents a unique opportunity for every member of the Harcum family to come together to make an impact. This special day celebrates the legacy of the college’s Founders, Edith and Octavius Harcum, who established the institution on Oct. 1, 1915.

This year, members of the Harcum community rose to the challenge, contributing gifts on or before Oct. 1 to be part of the Founders’ Day celebration. The community responded with overwhelming generosity. There was a 15 percent increase in donations from alumni, faculty, staff, students, friends, and trustees, which contributed to an impressive $218,168 in gifts and pledges.

These contributions ensure that the college continues to grow, evolve, and provide unparalleled support to its students.

Gifts to the Harcum Fund can be made at any time online.
