Maximize Efficiency with Heat Pump Technology
Recent advancements in HVAC technology have made heat pumps an excellent energy-efficient alternative to traditional furnaces and air conditioners. Like refrigerators, heat pumps use electricity to transfer heat from cool spaces to warm ones. Air-source heat pumps, the most common type, transfer heat between your home and the outside air. Today’s heat pumps can reduce electricity usage by approximately 65 percent.
These systems offer flexibility, as they can be installed with or without ductwork and provide both heating and cooling in one integrated solution. They can heat or cool individual rooms or your entire home. Consult with a qualified HVAC contractor to determine the best equipment for your home’s heating and cooling needs, and don’t forget to ask about PECO rebates and federal tax credits.
