New Barnes & Noble Store in Doylestown Officially Opens Its Doors with Ribbon Cutting
The new Barnes & Noble store at the Barn Plaza in Doylestown officially opened with a ribbon cutting on Wednesday to an enthusiastic crowd of patrons, writes Jeff Werner for the Patch.
“I am beyond honored to be here today as the manager of our first store in this area,” said Doylestown resident Sean Curran ahead of the ribbon cutting. “I am so deeply touched to see all of you. And I’m so incredibly grateful to all the people who created one of the most beautiful stores I have ever been in.”
Barnes & Noble accountant Joe Hogan and Philadelphia sports columnist, author, and Doylestown resident Mike Sielski were also present at the opening.
The new location will offer patrons “a locally curated list of books,” said Curran. “The booksellers who work here are members of the community just like the people who are going to shop here. We stock the store with things we know people are going to be looking for.”
In addition to great books, patrons will get the chance to meet the many authors who will be visiting the store throughout the year for book signings. Read more about Barnes & Noble in the Patch.
