AARP Pennsylvania, Bucks-Mont Collaborative, and United Way of Bucks County To Host Free Shredding Event Sept. 7
AARP Pennsylvania will host a free shredding event open to all members of the community on Saturday, Sept. 7, from 10:00 AM-2:00 PM at the United Way of Bucks County HELP Center (194 Commerce Circle, Bristol). Bucks County officials will be on hand to greet attendees.
This event is designed to help community members safely dispose of sensitive documents in an environmentally friendly manner, protecting individuals from identity theft.
Attendees can bring personal documents, old files, and other paper items to be securely shredded on-site. This service is provided at no cost to participants.
Pre-registration for the shred event is not required but highly encouraged. Pre-register to receive a free gift when you arrive (while supplies last).
What To Bring:
- Personal documents such as old tax returns, bank statements, medical records, etc.
- Limit of three bags or boxes per participant.
- Attendees are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to benefit the United Way of Bucks County. A list of what’s needed is available at the United Way of Bucks County website.
