Newtown Arts Company is set to bring The SpongeBob Musical to life from August 15-18 at the Zlock Performing Arts Center, located at Bucks County Community College, writes Blair Ingenthron for Broadway World.  

Directed by Morgaine Ford-Workman and featuring choreography by Wren Workman, this production also includes music direction by Susan den Outer and is produced by Diana Bilyk.  

The musical, which first premiered on Broadway in 2017, features original songs by a star-studded lineup including Cyndi Lauper, John Legend, Panic! At the Disco, and David Bowie. 

A portion of the proceeds will support Newtown Arts Company’s Scholarship Fund, which has awarded over $210,000 to local students pursuing education in the performing and fine art.
