Twin Valley Coffee: With locations around the county, the one in West Chester has earned the top spot from PhillyBite. With the tagline “happiness in a cup,” it’s no wonder so many prefer the sweet and bitter tastes of Twin Valley. They have in-house blends, rotating limited-time drinks, and apparel to choose from.

Morgantown Coffee House: Coming in at No. 2 in Elverson is the Morgantown Coffee House. It’s known for a seasonal menu that comes from local farms with items such as french toast, omelets, a BLT, small plates, and pastries. The coffee shop is open until 5 PM and you can choose from a variety of lattes, americanos, and anything with espresso. They also have a patio to enjoy during warmer months.

Collective Coffee and Bakery: Glenmoore’s hidden gem has been praised for having amazing treats and “out-of-this-world GOOD” coffee. Situated in Ludwig’s Village Market & Catering, Collective serves fresh, photo-worthy food until 2 PM, but the cafe remains open for coffee and pastries.

Gryphon Cafe: With over 20 years of coffee experience, Gryphon’s West Chester location is beloved by residents and visitors alike. With friendly staff and delicious drinks, there’s no wonder is a top-five coffee shop in the county. Located on busy Gay Street, there’s plenty of space to sit with a drink as you enjoy the rotating art exhibited on their walls.

Philter: Last, but certainly not least, is the popular Philter in Kennett Square. They partner with Ceremony Coffee Roasters for their drinks and carry a wide selection of breakfast and lunch items. They take pride in manually brewing their beans to ensure the best possible flavor.
