Philadelphia is one the top 100 cities in the world to live, work, and visit.

A new study has ranked the top 100 cities in the world to live, work, and visit, and Philadelphia found itself on the list, writes Laura Begley Bloom for Forbes.

An annual report by global consulting firm Resonance has ranked Philadelphia as the 68th most popular city in the world based on quality of life, work, and travel.

This year, the methodology looked at more than 270 cities with a population of 1 million-plus residents. From there, it used 24 metrics, including educational attainment, culture, and more to rank each spot in three categories: livability, lovability, and prosperity.

The United States fared the best of any other country in the world, with 24 cities on the list.

Philadelphia was the 15th ranked U.S. city on the list.

The major U.S. cities that ranked above Philly include New York City (No. 3), San Francisco (No. 7), Los Angeles (No. 15), Chicago (No. 16), Washington D.C. (No. 17), Boston (No. 24), Seattle (No. 34), San Jose (No. 38), Austin (No. 43), San Diego (No. 51), Miami (No. 54), Las Vegas (No. 59), Atlanta (No. 65), and Houston (No. 66).
