Ashley Meyers of Main Line Fashionista Empowers Women Through Fashion

By

Main Line Fashionista is a women’s boutique clothing store based out of Paoli, writes Eileen Smith Dallabrida for Main Line Today.

Ashley Meyers is the CEO and founder of the boutique.

As the owner of a clothing store, her style is confident. Meyers’ has learned to take away the doubt that can wash over women when they try their clothes on. She focuses on how she feels, instead of how she looks.

Meyers’ is a fifth-generation Main Liner and was raised in a humble home. When asked about her fashion roots, Meyers’ said, “I began buying my own clothing at 13 with my babysitting money. I chose the most important pieces and learned to shop second-hand. To this day, I hold true to my fashion roots by creating my unique style on a budget that mixes vintage and current items.”

Some of her favorite fashion pieces are her nana’s 1960s brightly colored shift dress, her grandmother’s jade necklace, and her mom’s 1970s rehearsal two-piece that she wore to her own wedding rehearsal. Fashion travels through decades and reminds us of our history as women.

She has seen first-hand the importance of fashion. “I’m constantly amazed at the difference a well-fitted pair of jeans can make in someone’s life,” Meyers said. “I’ve received countless thank-you’s from clients whom I’ve dressed for last-minute dates, weddings, photoshoots or interviews.”
