Owned and operated by second-generation owner Amr Scott, you’ll find Zabiha halal beef, poultry, and lamb slaughtered by hand at the shop. The meat is sourced from Amish farms, are free of antibiotics, and pasture-raised.
At Lombardi’s Prime Meats in South Philadelphia, carnivores can find smokeable beef brisket and ribs, beautiful steak cuts, and milk-fed veal.
There’s also Halteman Family Meats inside Reading Terminal Market. Specialties include your choice of smoked bacon (pork, turkey, and beef), scrapple, and its prime beef cuts.
Lastly, Esposito’s Meats in the Italian Market has offered beef, veal, pork, lamb, poultry, and seafood nearly everyday for well over 100 years.
