Philadelphia Phillies fans going to Citizens Bank Park for a home game will be able to indulge themselves with food from Kosher Grill, as it has been added as the newest food option to the ball park’s food lineup, writes Megan VerHelst for Patch.
Located in Section 136, Kosher Grill offers a variety of items on its menu.
This includes hot pastrami on rye, Chicago-style hot dogs with all the works, garlic beef sausages, potato knishes, cabbage egg rolls, pretzels, and more.
The stand is the second for Kosher Grill, and is an offshoot of its longstanding operation at the Wells Fargo Center.
Kosher Grill is closed on both Fridays and Saturdays during the sabbath.
The Philadelphia area is home to the third-largest Jewish population in the United States at about 194,200 households, according to recent estimates.
Citizens Bank Park now joins a growing list of ballparks that offer kosher food options. The list includes Fenway Park in Boston, Wrigley Field in Chicago, Progressive Field in Cleveland, Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, LoanDepot Park in Miami, CitiField and Yankee Stadium in New York, Busch Stadium in St. Louis, Rogers Centre in Toronto, and Nationals Park in Washington.
