Via’s Pizza Makes a Triumphant Return to Norristown After Renovations

By

After several-years-long absence following a move and renovations, the Norristown community is overjoyed to welcome back Via’s Pizza, writes Rachel Ravina for The Times Herald.

Owners announced the return of the popular Italian eatery on social media, and their post was immediately inundated with positive reactions and hundreds of comments.

Residents shared their memories of the town staple that’s been serving delicious pizza, cheesesteaks, and water ice for decades.

“Wow! So happy for you! It looks great! Welcome back to the old neighborhood! Congratulations and best of luck to you! We’d be lost without Via’s!!!,” wrote Bettyann Cottonaro.

Co-owners Vito Parisi as well as Domenico and Joseph Stabile were touched by all the support and the welcome reception they received from both past patrons and residents.

“Oh the people, they couldn’t wait,” said Parisi. “(They) always ask us when are you coming back?”

“We’ve been serving clients (for) 51 years,” said Domenico. “So they’ve been really nice to us, everybody. So (it) makes us feel good and try to take care of them.”

The fully renovated pizza shop has a counter service model and table seating and can accommodate up to 70 patrons.
