Quakertown Native and Pop Sensation Sabrina Carpenter to Make SNL Debut May 18
Quakertown native and pop sensation Sabrina Carpenter is gearing up for her debut on Saturday Night Live on May 18, writes Franki Rudnesky for the PhillyVoice.
Carpenter’s recent single, “Espresso,” has been a significant hit, quickly climbing the chart, becoming her first to hit the Billboard Top 10.
The singer, who just had her Coachella debut and a stint as an opener on Reading-raised Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour.
Carpenter was born in Bucks Couty but grew up in East Greenville, Montgomery County before moving to Los Angeles at age 13 to pursue her music and acting career. Carpenter starred in Disney Channel’s “Girl Meets World.”
Carpenter will be the music guest in May 18th’s upcoming episode, alongside host Jake Gyllenhaal who is rumored to be the inspiration behind Taylor Swift’s song “All Too Well.”
