At the recently opened Together Skateboarding & Café in Brewerytown, you can grab some new skateboard equipment along with a delicious cup of coffee, reports Bob Kelly for FOX 29.
Ron Cornwall, the owner of the already popular spot, decided to take his love for skateboarding and his love for coffee and put them together last year.
“I could sell you a full, complete skateboard,” said Cornwall. “I could sell you a deck.”
Prior to opening the shop, Cornwall’s job often took him away from home.
“I was on the road, I was going to Yukon to Alaska to Nebraska,” he said. “I was away from my family. I was away from the life I was trying to have.”
This was a concept created to ensure he and his family were together.
Now his family lives in the same building in which he works. He noted that they live upstairs.
Cornwall’s wife, Sara Finne, is in charge of the coffee department.
The shop offers a full service coffee menu along with a nice selection of mouthwatering danishes.
