Plumsteadville’s Tague Lumber Calls for 300 Volunteers for Unique World Record

By

Plumsteadville’s Tague Lumber is seeking 300 people to assist it in beating a world record, writes Ed Doyle for TapintoDoylestown.

On April 25th, the lumber yard is setting the stage for a timber-tapping extravaganza, aiming to rally a crowd of more than 295 folks to knock on wood in unison. It hopes to surpass the current Guinness World Record of 295 simultaneous wood knockers.

At 6100 Easton Road, doors will open at 4:30 PM, setting the stage for an ambitious world record attempt at 5 PM.

Beyond the quest for a new record, attendees can enjoy an array of attractions, including complimentary food, live music, performances by the CB East Marching Band, and an expo with over 25 vendors offering the latest in home improvement products.

The Plumsteadville location is the company’s first hybrid facility, blending a traditional lumberyard with a 4,000 square foot Showroom.

Admission to the event is free.
