Law Firm Dilworth Paxson in Talks to Relocate From Centre Square to One Liberty Place
Dilworth Paxson, the Center City law firm, is in talks to relocate from Centre Square to One Liberty Place in a move that would reduce its overall space from 83,094 square feet to around 50,000 square feet, write Paul Schwedelson and Jeff Blumenthal for the Philadelphia Business Journal.
This would continue the trend of local law firms significantly reducing its real estate footprint.
Dilworth is currently in talks to take over part of the space that is currently occupied by Glenmede, an investment and wealth management firm that signed a long-term lease last April to stay at One Liberty Place but relocate into a smaller space. Glenmede is moving from floors 11 through 14 to floors 38 through 40, taking one floor less in the relocation.
As floor space at One Liberty totals a little over 24,000 square feet, Dilworth’s lease would take over two of the four floors Glenmede is vacating.
The space Dilworth is currently considering taking could be a combination of a sublease and direct lease.
