For those looking for a Chick-fil-A alternative, but still want the Chick-fil-A food offerings and customer service, look to Crisp Chik’n in Lansdowne, writes Victor Fiorillo for Philadelphia.

Open since March 2021, it is remarkably similar to the popular Chick-fil-A menu, with chicken sandwiches, chicken tenders, waffle fries and milkshakes all in the mix, sharing the tastes and textures of a Chick-fil-A.

They’ll also provide the same cheery customer service.

“I definitely used Chick-fil-A as an inspiration,” says Crisp Chik’n owner Musa Kajdomqaj, “People get really excited to go to Chick-fil-A, and I really wanted to provide not just the same kind of food but the same kind of experience.”

Crisp Chik’n’s will also provide a burger in a Five Guys style.

His approach to the food has paid off, with some of his customers driving from more than five miles away, passing Chick-fil-A restaurants on the way, Kajdomqaj said.

Crisp Chik’n won a 2022 Best of Philly Food award for its chicken and it was named by The Philadelphia Inquirer as one of two Delco locations with the best chicken sandwich in the area.

“Our customer base runs deep in Delco,” he said.
