As Andy Reid, Travis Kelce, and the Kansas City Chiefs prepare for their fourth Super Bowl appearance in the last five seasons, Reid shared an interesting piece of information while on the Let’s Go! With Tom Brady, Larry Fitzgerald and Jim Gray podcast.

In the podcast, Reid revealed that he was introduced to Taylor Swift long before her current boyfriend Travis Kelce, writes Charna Flam for People.

“I knew her before, from Philadelphia. Her dad [Scott Swift] played at [University of] Delaware and was a big football fan and a good guy,” Reid explained. “So I had met him there and her.”

Since Swift and Kelce’s relationship became public, it has garnered a lot of attention.

The increased attention has not been a bother for Reid, as he has consistently spoken highly of the couple.

“She’s a good girl. And I’m happy for Trav,” Reid said. “And there has been no distraction that way at all. And Trav’s handled it right, she’s handled it right and we just move forward.”

Kelce has also acknowledged that the increased attention hasn’t caused his focus to stray away from the Chiefs as they prepare to play in Super Bowl LVIII against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, Feb. 11.
