Here Are Some of the Tasty Additions to the Montgomery County Restaurant Scene
The restaurant industry continues to boom in the Philadelphia area, including a new breakfast spot and Korean BBQ restaurant in Montgomery County, writes Michael Klein for The Philadelphia Inquirer.
Kismet Bagels Luncheonette is a new breakfast-lunch spot at 801 Montgomery Avenue in Penn Valley. Owners Jacob and Alexandra Cohen are serving up bagel sandwiches, doughnuts, and shakes between 7 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Top Pot & Korean BBQ, which has a location in Delran, is coming to Montgomery Mall and Willow Grove in the spring. The all-you-can-eat restaurant offers Chinese hot pot or Korean barbecue.
At Top Pot, the brainchild of Eddie Zheng, founder of Nan Xiang Xiao Long Bao and Takumi Bistro & Bar, you get to have the full DIY tabletop cooking experience complete with instructions, tongs, scissors, and ingredients.
Not far from Montgomery County in Phoenixville, you can also enjoy Korean fried chicken and house-made beers at Soko Bag at 95 Nutt Road. The owners Shea Roggio and Alice Chang first met in Dubai and then spent time in South Korea working on their recipes.
