Doylestown Welcomes Honeygrow to Revamped Barn Plaza

By

Doylestown residents can soon enjoy the unique flavors of Honeygrow, a popular quick-service restaurant specializing in salads, stir-frys, and its signature honeybar, writes Ed Doyle for TAPintoDoylestown.

The company announced its newest location in Doylestown’s Barn Plaza.  Honeygrow has rapidly expanded its presence with over 40 locations across the northeastern United States.  Its arrival in Doylestown is part of the major redevelopment of Barn Plaza.

Plans for the plaza include the construction of four new buildings, hosting six restaurants, four retail stores, and a medical office. Three of these buildings will replace the former movie theater and the fourth near the old Applebee’s site.

Brixmor, the shopping center’s owner, revealed at a recent zoning meeting that the historic silos will also be demolished. This redevelopment will introduce other major brands to the area, including Whole Foods and Barnes and Noble, which are set to occupy the spaces previously held by Marshall’s and HomeGoods

However, Brixmor officials have stated that these plans are still in the preliminary stages and subject to changes.
