Jason Kelce Gives Young Girl a Close Encounter With Taylor Swift
Ella Piazza was thinking positive before the Bills-Chiefs game on Sunday, convinced she would meet Taylor Swift.
And she did, thanks to some help from Jason Kelce, writes Anna Lazarus Caplan for People.
A shirtless Jason Kelce lifted the 8-year-old Penfield, New York girl up and helped her wave at Swift during the playoff game.
Ella and her mom, Jessica Piazza, started off on the opposite side of the Highmark Stadium suite, where Swift, Kelce’s family members, and friends were enjoying the game.
They switched spots at halftime with Jessica’s friend, who sat under the suite, as Ella clutched a handmade sign reading “Buffalo Bill + Taylor Swift – Best First Game Ever”.
Then Ella started climbing, at which point Kelce, shirtless, hopped into the stands, saw the third grader, scooped her up, and brought her close enough to Taylor Swift that she could read Ella’s sign.
“It was, like, amazing,” Ella said.
Ella, wearing Bills colors, waved to Swift, then posed for a picture with Kelce.
“He was so kind to her,” Jessica said.
Ella was “in absolute heaven” and “the happiest I’ve ever seen her,” her mom added.
