Halloween is right around the corner and Philadelphia isn’t without its share of events and parties for people to enjoy, writes Jared Ranahan for Forbes.

While celebrations start to take place in the days leading up to the holiday, those looking for plans on Halloween night can visit Royal Boucherie in Old City.

Typically, the bistro is known for its French cuisine; however, Halloween will bring out something entirely different.

On Halloween night, customers can enjoy festive cocktails during a special Haunted Happy Hour, with options including a tequila-forward Plum Reaper and a whiskey-infused Nightmare on 2nd Street.

The Halloween-inspired celebrations aren’t over on October 31, however.

For some post-Halloween celebrations, customers can enjoy their time at another Old City restaurant.

Panorama, the Italian restaurant in the Penn’s View Hotel, is offering customers the opportunity to partake in Festa dei Morta, on November 2.

The Italian term translates in English to “Feast of the Dead,” a day celebrated in Sicily to pay homage to those who have passed away.

On that date, guests at Panorama can enjoy a sophisticated dinner with high-end wine selections and delicious Halloween-inspired dishes from roasted pumpkin soup to butternut squash risotto and pumpkin cheesecake.
