They are collecting with a nonprofit out of Florida to do so.
“We donated our time and our resources to help get all these items in here,” said Andy Langsam, CEO of Dynamic Advertising Solutions.
They plan to ship out about 1,500 backpacks, 1,000 pairs of tactical gloves, and 150 pairs of fire-resistant gloves for tank units.
Langsam and a team of 28 other men felt obligated to help after Israel was attacked by Hamas because of a trip they took to Israel last fall.
“We just created an incredible bond and so when everything happened recently, all of the guys came together,” he said.
According to Operations Manager Alicia Dietz, this week about 7,000 pounds of gear will be distributed directly to Israel Defense Forces with plans to distribute more equipment in the near future.
